Tiddly Inks Challenge – Simplify

Our challenge today at Tiddly Inks is to create a simplified one layer card. I used Fairy Fae Catches a Star as my card base and colored her with Copic Markers. From their I created a simple border around her with little hand written sentiments that read “shine bright”, “glow”, “sparkle”, and “twinkle”. As I knew the image was going to be the strong focal point on this one I spent a lot of time carefully coloring the image and I outlined her in a few layers of very soft grey copic markers.

 

I’ve actually started a set of notecards that follow this same premise of being single layer and very simple.
