Tiddly Inks Challenge — Tough Guy

It’s Tuesday and that means there is a new challenge over at the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Our challenge was to create a Tough Guy card for Father’s Day and Christy gave us just the image to make it with. She’s come out with a few new images just for Father’s day that are so cute and just a bit cheeky. 🙂

I used the new image Cave Dad for this card and colored him with Copics. I used a generic cardstock from Michael’s to print on as I’m out of my PTI white that I usually use. This actually wasn’t too bad and I may stick with it. I stamped around the image with a couple of background stamps and sponged the edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen. The designer paper is from BoBunny. I used the ric-rac punch from EK Success to give it a bit of a Fred Flinstone feel and a corrugated circle from Jilly Bean Soup.

For my layout I used this week’s Deconstructed Sketch though I did modify the sentiment placement a bit.
