Tri-fold Mini Slim Card
Today I have a fun card to share with you using Taylored Expressions new Mini Slim line of products (available tomorrow). These new slimline style cards are a slightly smaller profile (3.5″ x 6″) than a full slim line. I LOVE this new size, it’s fun to work with and not quite as narrow as a normal slim line.
For my card today I decided to pair up the Mini Slim size card with O-Fish-ally Awesome. I stamped all of the fish from the set on Sugar Cube and colored them with Copics. I stamped the fish twice, once normal and once as a mirror image. (Check out this post from Jennifer McGuire for info on how to do the mirror image technique.)
For the top page of the card I used the Mini Slim Tri Fold Template and Dies to create the large opening at the top. Then I stenciled the waves and attached the sea life and fish (I did mess around with the arrangement before finally gluing things down).
The middle layer used the Mini Slim Tri Fold template and dies again to make the smaller opening and then I added the sea life and fish to that layer.
For the bottom layer I used the large template again but this time as a stencil to frame in the last layer for the final fish and sea life. I stamped coordinating sentiments on each layer using Oreo ink.
