TTIC #59 – *Sparkle*
It’s Tuesday and you know what that means… lol. It’s another Twilight Tuesday challenge. This week Margie has picked our theme and it’s to make things *sparkle*.
To start my card this week I used The Greeting Farm’s Ed digi that I made in my hair tutorial a couple weeks ago and some lovely Cosmo Cricket Earth Love paper, PTI White, Rustic White, and Dark Chocolate cardstock. I was a little disappointed that I was unable to use the coolest new Fiskars edge punch I found… the PTI cardstock as too thick for the punch. 🙁 But Martha came through for me. 😀
I colored Ed with Copics and added sparkle with a clear Spica pen. I really like the subtle sparkle of this. My husband was giving me fits about not making it look like some bad CGI and I think it turned out just right. Though you can’t see it at all in this pic… if you click on the pic you can see it better.
I finished it up with a Just Because sentiment from American Crafts that I embossed with clear embossing powder over Memento Rich Cocoa ink and a couple of brown oval rhinestones that I had floating around in a bag of miscellaneous stuff.
