WooHoo it’s Tuesday and that means it’s time for another Twilight Tuesday challenge.
This week the super fantastic and amazing and awesome and lovely Jacquie chose our challenge. I could gush about her more but I need to get on to the challenge cause it’s a really unique and creative one.
Craft Portion: Make something that reflects brotherhood….Be inspired by the wolf pack, Edward, Jasper and Emmett. Even the relationship between Bella and Jacob. Make a scrapbook page or a card for your brother, maybe a book for that special guy in your life. Celebrate brothers in anyway you like. This would be a great chance to find all those awesome pictures of the New Moon Wolf pack!
Comment Portion: Talk about the brotherhood in your life…Do you have an amazing brother that has been there for you through thick or thin? Do you have any guy friends that have had your back when time got rough?
So my craft. I was sort of struggling with this when I started looking at my card stock and found this fantastic PaperTrey Ink green cardstock and voilla it all came together.
I had this stamp and I can’t remember who it’s buy, I think it’s Stampology but I’m not certain. Any how, the stamp was perfect for this challenge and the paper sealed the deal. I embossed the Spring Moss card stock and then distressed it with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain. Then I mounted it on Ripe Avacado cardstock, also distressed. I stamped the sentiment on Rustic White cardstock with New Leaf Perfect Match PTI ink. I distressed it by wrinkling it a bit and then adding the Distressing Ink, mounted itoffset on more Ripe Avacado cs and then added some brads, ribbon and a button and it’s done. And I love it. I need to make more cards that are simple like this because I think they really reflect more of my personality. And I really love this rustic look.
Now onto that comment portion. Well I do have a brother and he’s about 16 months younger than I am so the whole time we grew up it was very nearly like having a twin. My brother is the funniest person I know and also the most stubborn, abnoxious, ornery, sweet, genuine, and caring person I know. He doesn’t do anything halfway. It’s all or nothing everytime. I’m very lucky to get to see him just about as often as I like and to share a birthday with his super cute little boy. Even when I was beating the crap out of him as a kid I still loved him to death, just like now. (Bill, I know you are about to vomit, so you know… move along.)
