Valentine Treats and More!
Today I have a BUNCH of fun new Valentine treat goodies to share with you from Taylored Expressions. This week TE is releasing some majorly cute Valentine products that will be a must-have if you make treats for classrooms, grandkids, co-works, and of course your own kiddos.
The first project I have for you features the new Critter Clips – Valentine dies. These little cuties are so adorable and their pair up perfectly with Itty Bitty Sentiments – Valentine. I made little tags out of the Critter Clips but the little animals could also be attached to paper clips to make a treat bag topper. I also used TE’s Valentine Treat Totes for the base of my treat bags. These come in Fruit Punch and Guava cardstock and are so easy to put together. I decorated the treat totes with stencils, Masking Stencil – Heart, and Heart Stacklets.
Penguin Hugs
My next project is a super cute little penguin die, Penguin Hugs, that would be perfect for making a class set of Valentines with little treats tucked inside.
I die cut each penguin out of Oreo and Sugar Cube cardstock then attached them to a Bracket Notecard base in a variety of colors. The notecards were stenciled tone on tone with Mini Slim Stencil – Swiss Hearts. I added a tiny heart over the candy to help hold the candy securely and then added a mini tag stamped with one of the sentiments from Itty Bitty Sentiments – Valentine’s.
On the inside, I stamped Happy Valentine’s Day from Itty Bitty Sentiments – Valentines.
My let set of gifts is another take on the treat boxes uses Foil It Simple Tags – Valentine. I decorated the treat boxes in a similar way to the Critter Clips but this time added the foil it tags (WHICH I LOVE!) These are so easy to make and put together. I foil my panel first with Deco Foil and my Minc. I used Pink Melon and Turquoise foil.
These are so easy to put together with the stencil. After foiling I gently applied ink using TE’s blender brushes and Lavender Glaze, Cookie Monster, Fruit Punch, Guava and Jelly Donut ink.
