Verve October Release Retrospective Blog Hop!

Welcome to Verve’s October Release Retrospective Blog Hop! The Verve Divas are hopping today and serving up some more inspiration using the October release stamps & dies! Besides a look-see at some really nifty cards, there’s also a comment prize up for grabs!

Thoughts and Prayers by Jen Shults

For my card today I used Inspire Hope along with paper from Doodlebug’s Kraft in Color Line. I love that line of paper, lol. I can’t use it enough. To start my card I cut a cardbase out of Steel Gray cardstock (MFT) and layered it with Sugar Cube cardstock (Taylored Expressions). I then layered the background with a strip of yellow and a lot of green from the Kraft in Color paper pad. I stamped the sentiment on Sugar Cube with Memento Espresso Truffle ink. I then die cut a couple of flags from the Flag It Die Set from Verve. I used the Sprightly Sprigs dies for the leaves around my flowers and the flower is from the Goodness Dies Set. The button is from Taylored Expressions.
