Weigh in #3:
Weigh in #3 has come and gone and I’m happy to announce I’m down another 2.4 pounds. Yee-Haw!!! I’m still sticking with the same plan: eat less crap, eat more veggies, drink more water, move more, take some vitamins. It’s working. 😀
Highlights of the week:
- I love sweet potatoes. Those ugly little spuds are full of flavor and fiber (if you eat the skin).
- B vitamins rock my world. I think I might have been deficient.
- Water is still my best friend. The goal of the week is a minimum of 1.5 liters of water a day.
- Changing over from ground beef to ground turkey. No ones noticed so far. (Chris if you read this… luv you. 😉 )

Oh my it’s a busy time of year:
The holidays, birthdays, and wrapping up a semester are beating me about the head and shoulders and wringing me dry. But I’m smiling about it as the above mentioned new healthy living plan has delivered loads more energy so I’m plugging through. But my blog is suffering a bit – I feel shameful to be down to 3 posts a week just after finishing NaBloPoMo.
The Giving Time of Year:
In the spirit of Christmas Chris and I have been decluttering and cleaning out and making sure the best of our stuff moves on to people who can really use it. If you have a minute go clean out the toys your kids don’t play with anymore and the coats that don’t get worn and donate them to a charity that will redistrute them to folks who could really use them – those coats especially.
