WFWC17 Box it UP!

Wow, how did it get to be Wednesday already! Time is just flying by! Wednesday means it’s time for another Wild Flower Wednesday challenge and this week we have a super fun challenge for you called Box it Up! We want you to create anything that includes a box… it can be altered or from a template or anything your imagination thinks up but it needs to be a box! Now if you are looking for a starting place well I have a surprise for you! The uber fabulous and generous Leigh Ann Baird is providing you with a free template to try! You can grab that template over at the Wild Flower Patch blog.

Here’s my project for this week. I used Leigh Ann’s Able Gable Template to make my box. I used the PDF version as I don’t have a custom cutter. It was super easy to cut out and I LOVE the way it turned out!

To decorate the my plain white box I started with some light green card stock that perfectly matched this super cute paper from My Mind’s Eye. I colored the flowers (which are a Wild Flower Patch freebie over at Paper Craft Planet) with Copics and cute them out. I mounted them on a circle I cut out using my Nesties Ovals small and sponged with Tattered Rose Distress Ink. I added a bit of ribbon and some pearls for the flower centers and it was done! I need to make a matching birthday card to go with this because I know exactly who is getting this box. 😀
