WFWC31 – Scallops and Buttons
Hi all it’s Wild Flower Wednesday time again! This week our challenge is to use Scallops and Buttons. On my card I used Iris from the Wild Flower Patch and colored her with Prismacolors to match the new Basic Grey Jovial paper.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a fussier card and I’m really happy with the way this came out. It was so much faster and easier than my old ones because I have a brand new stamping/computer desk that my hubby got me for my birthday. It is just wonderful. Everything is organized and within arms reach AND it’s all cleaned up and clutter free around here now. SOOOO nice. This card would have taken my 2+ hours before and I probably wouldn’t have been able to find all the stuff I used but this was pretty quick for me. (On a side note I did pre-color that image… I’m an insanely slow colorer do I don’t usually count that, lol.)
I know, I’ve been getting some slack about all the Christmas cards… from my hubby at least. If I don’t start now they will never get done, lol. I’ve got a pretty good start, with my left overs from last year I think I have about 20 cards done. Not to shabby! How about you? Are you getting started on the Christmas cards early?
Here’s one more closer look at the coloring on this card…
