WFWC33 – Sketchery
Howdy all! It’s been a crazy busy week for me at work this week! Wow. Getting lots of things done though… that’s always a good thing. 😀 I had a bit of a snafu with my project for today. I had worked ahead this week because of all my work stuff and I NEVER work ahead, and this will teach me, lol. I had my project all ready to be photographed last night to get my post ready and what do I discover… well I discover that one of my little ones had gotten there first and decided to ‘help’ me with my card. 🙁 The culprit in question seems to be of the 3 year old variety and very liberal with his ‘help’. (I’m trying very hard not to be too sad about this… he just wanted to be creative like mama.) 🙁 So I don’t have the correct card for you this morning but since I worked ahead I had a card ready for tomorrow that uses one of my WFK images though it doesn’t follow this sketch, it follows Mercy’s sketch this week.
Here’s the proper sketch this week for the Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge:
And here’s my project using Mercy’s sketch:
For this card I used Pumpkin Lily and colored her with Prismacolor colored pencils. I do love my pencils but man does it take me forever to color and image with them, lol. I used some adorable My Mind’s Eye Boo To You paper (I seem to have a thing for MME lately). I cut Lily out using a Nesties die and then traced the die to make the black border. The edge punch is Drippy Goo from Martha Stewart.
I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week and take a shot at the WFW sketch. 😀 I’m going to see if I can fit in some time to redo mine for tomorrow. 😀
Be sure to check out the rest of the design team at the Wild Flower Patch Blog! They have ROCKED this challenge!
