Wild Flower Kids Release Day and Pink Elephant
It’s a busy busy day today! First up it’s Wild Flower Kids Release day!!
I have two new sets of deeply etched red rubber stamps coming out today!! You can purchase them at StampHappens Shop.
The first set is called No Girls Allowed and features Rye and a new littly guy called Sage (with the skateboard).
The second set is called Pretty in Pink and features Laurel and Ivy (with the books).
Now on to some samples!!
For today’s release I used Laurel from the Pretty in Pink set to make this little card.
I colored Laurel with Copics to match this AWESOME paper from My Mind’s Eye (that I can’t remember the tiltle of). Then I layered it up, wanting to keep it pretty simple to show off the paper.
After I colored her up I distressed the edges just a bit and then layered her offest on brown and orange. I sponged the edges of the DP with Brushed Corderoy Distress Ink as well as the image of Laurel. I finished it up with some flower rhinestones.
Now be sure to check out what the rest of the Stamp Sistahs made for this release. They have some fantastic work!!!

Now onto the Pink Elephant challenge! I’m so happy to be sponsoring the Pink Elephant challenge again this week. 😀
This week the challenge is a recipe:
Something plaid, any amount of brads and NO ribbon
Now I was a little sad about the ribbon… but no one said I couldn’t make some out of paper, lol. So here is what I came up with:
This is Lily from the Wild Flower Kids ‘Tis the Season set. I colored her using Copics. The paper I used is the super cute Christmas Soup set from Jillibean. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I’m going to have to go get more of it. I layered it all up on Bazzill cardstock (pomegrante, hillary, java) and sponged the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
For the panel behind Lily I sponge Brushed Courderoy and Walnut stain ink onto an oval I cut using my Nestabilities and Big Shot.
Be sure to go check out what the lovely ladies from the Pink Elephant did with the ‘Tis the Season set! They have some amazing creations!!!
