Wild Flower Release Day Blog Hop and Challenge!

t’s time for a Wild Flower Wednesday Blog Hop & Challenge! TODAY the Wild Flower Patch is release 5 brand new images and 4 new to digi images. The Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge for today is to add STRIPES to your project! The stripes can be in designer paper, embossed or made out of cut sheets or anything else your creativity comes up with! The winner of this week’s challenge will win ALL FIVE of the brand new Wild Flower Kids images! How cool is that?

Here’s my sample for this week’s challenge using the brand new Angel Poppy digi.

I colored Angel Poppy using Prismacolor pencils to match this amazing My Mind’s Eye Holly Jolly paper. Just adore this paper. I used it yesterday and it had a totally different look for that card. I’m going to have to get more of this stuff because I’m going to use a ton of it for holiday cards this year. Okay… back on track with my card. I cut Poppy out and popped her up on Pop Dots. The layout is this week’s Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge.

Now you might be asking your self, “Self, isn’t this a stripes challenge?” And I’d say, “Yes, my lovely blog reader it is!” And you’d say, “But Jen, where’s the stripes?” And I’d say, “Dear observant reader, you are correct my stripes aren’t obvious but they are hiding on the background panel in the music staffs.” And you’d roll your eyes and think “That’s cheating!!” and then you’d smile and say “OH! I see it now! It does work for this challenge.” And I’d smile really wide and say, “Why thank you lovely blog reader!” WOW!!! It was so nice having this chat with you. 😀
