Wild Flower Wednesday 29 – B&W
Hi all! It’s Wild Flower Wednesday! This week we have a super fun challenge issued by Donna. She’s chosen a Black and White challenge for us this week. Well I LOVE a good black and white challenge…. I think you guys knew that. So this was a fun one for me.
I chose to use a stamp I haven’t used all that much, the butterfly digi. I colored it using the Copics neutral greys and then added a bit of sparkle with a Spica pen and Stardust pen. I cut it out with an oval Nestabilities die and layered it on some super cute Doodblebug Designs designer paper… I love this stuff and have been hoarding it a bit. I layered that on a bit of white and black cardstock. I punched the top and bottom of the black with Martha Stewarts Daisy Dot edge punch. I thought it was a perfect match for the dp. I added a bit of sheer white ribbon and grabbed one of the tiny punched flowers from the border for the bow center and added a sentiment from Basic Grey and I was done. I’m really happy with this one AND I’m so happy with how fast I was done. Usually I’m a slow poke and this took me only about 35 minutes… a record for me!
I hope you’ll stop by and try to join us this week! As always the prize is 3 digis from The Wild Flower Patch store!
