World Card Making Day with SugarPea Designs
Hi everyone! It’s World Card Making Day and SugarPea Designs is celebrating along! I had so much fun making my card for today. It was one of those cards that just went together smoothly.
To start my card I stamped the ghost from Eek-a-boo onto watercolor paper with Stazon ink. I watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush. Next I made the background by stamping and embossing the spider webs in white and using Dusty Concord, Black Soot and Chipped Sapphire Distress Re-inkers on watercolor paper. I sprinkled it with a little water and dabbed off the extra to make the star like speckles. I used the SugarCuts Scatter Straw Journal Card and vellum to make the midlevel background panel. I tucked a few bats from SugarCuts Stitched Autumn Icons in front of and behind the vellum for a bit of dimension. I stamped the sentiment on a black banner and embossed it with white embossing powder for a little pop.
I hope you’ll join in and make a card today for someone you care about or just for fun!
