Hi everyone! Today Taylored Expressions<\/a> is releasing another fun kit, the Farm Fresh Kit<\/a>. This kit includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s such a cute set with lots of amazing options for adorable cards. Today I have two card to share with you using this kits. First up is the Holy Cow bobble head card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holy Cow Bobble Head Card Directions:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  1. Create and A2 cardbase from Sugar Cube cardstock.<\/li>
  2. Stamp the cow on Sugar Cube cardstock using Oreo ink. Color with preferred coloring medium and die cut. (I used Copics: E37, E35, E31, E30, E13, E11, W3, W1)<\/li>
  3. Stamp the woodgrain background (you could swap this for the gingham background in the kit) on Toffee cardstock with Sugar Cube ink. Trim a 1\/8″ strip of red dot patterned paper for the bottom edge and attach. Wrap with twine and attach twine bow. Attach to Sugar Cube cardbase with foam tape.<\/li>
  4. Cut a 2″ x 3″ piece of Sugar Cube. Ink with clouds and grass using Cookie Monster and Peapod ink. Distress the edges. <\/li>
  5. Stamp Holy Cow on Chocolate Truffle using Versamark ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Trim to fit at the bottom the of the stenciled scene, attach. Attach scene background to card with foam tape.<\/li>
  6. Die cut clouds from Sugar Cube, sun rays from Lemon Meringue cardstock and center from Candy Corn dot patterned paper. Assemble sun with foam tape. Attach to scene with foam tape and liquid adhesive. Attach cow – body with foam tape, head with a wobble spring. Done!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    My second card uses the adorable chicken from the set without the wobble springs. I did a little paper piecing on this one and some stamp masking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Coolest Chick Card Directions:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    1. Begin by making an A2 cardbase from Sugar Cube cardstock.<\/li>
    2. Cut a second piece of Sugar Cube to 4″ x 5.25″ Stamp the barn and the fence on the cardstock positioned about 1\/2″ from the bottom edge. Stamp the barn and fence on masking paper and cut out (sorry about the fence… I used an Xacto knife to trim that out.) Apply masks to barn and fence.<\/li>
    3. Using Cookie Monster ink blend around the edges of the scene fading toward the middle and toward the grass area.<\/li>
    4. Use the grass stencil with Granny Smith and Cilantro ink to up the grass.<\/li>
    5. Stamp the barn on red dot paper from the Rainbow Brights Paper Pack. Cut out the doors and the body of the barn. Glue to the barn. Add shadows with Copic markers (I used BV23 and BV25). Color the hay loft, trim of barn and fence with Copics (I used Y08, Y28, W9, W7, W5, W1, 0). <\/li>
    6. Stamp the chicken on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink. Color with Copics. I used Y08, Y04, Y02, Y38, Y35) Die cut with coordinating dies.<\/li>
    7. Stamp the sentiment in the sky with Oreo ink. Attach the chicken body flush to the card and the head with foam tape. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
