Hi everyone! Today Taylored Expressions is releasing new personalized custom stamps made just for you at TEmadeforme.com. Personalized stamps are one of my favorite ways to make sure the recipient of my card knows I made it just for them and Taylor has outdone herself by designing new elegant, fun, cute, and of course a little snarky personalized stamps! For fun, Taylor and her team designed personalized stamps for all of us so I have one to share with you!

"Personalized

Often times when I stamp a personalized stamp on my project I will stamp with the same color ink as the cardstock I used for my cardbase so the stamp is subtle but on white that won’t work! So I could have used SeaSalt and that would have been fun but I decided I wanted to do just a little extra and add some ink blending and Copics to the back – just a little so it didn’t bleed through. To do this I stamped in Oreo and then heat set for just a couple of seconds then I used a Bitty Blender Brush with Rose Water ink and Peapod ink to very lightly ink the flower and the stem. Then I took two similar colors of Copic markers and added just a few ink dots in and around the flower and stem. I kept the dots very light so they did not bleed through the cardbase. You could also stamp on TE sticker paper and die cut to make a sticker to put on the back of your cards!

"Donut

Now let’s talk about this card. I’ve had these donut stamps sitting on my desk just waiting for me to use them and this was a perfect time. I got a little carried away and now have about 40 more donuts sitting on my desk… paper ones, not edible! So you will probably be seeing another donut card soon! I started by stamping and stenciling the background using Donut Days Cling & Clear Combo and Donut Days Stencil. These are so fun to use because there is no coloring! (I did do a little coloring because I’m me and can’t help myself but you definitely don’t have to!) I just about used every TE ink I have on the donuts in the background and then stenciled the Sprinkles in the background using Strawberry Milkshake ink. For the donuts on the front, I stamped the background stamp then added shadow details to the donuts using Copic markers then stamped the ink on top and added a touch of white gel pen. For the shaker donut box I used Boxtop Stacklets cut from Confetti Cake cardstock and TE Foam Sticky Strips and vellum. I love that vellum is still see-through but toned down the shaker element so the front design wasn’t too busy. And, bonus my daughter said it looked like a real donut box!

That’s it for me today! I hope you have a great day!!
