This notecard die creates a 3″x3″ mini notecard. I just LOVE these notecard dies. I use them all the time for quick present tags and little notes for my kids and husband. This die is a perfect addition!! I paired this die up with the new Totally Tags – Occasions. This sweet stamp set coordinated with the Totally Tags dies and previous Totally Tags stamp sets. I stamped the sweet For You tag, die cut it and colored it with Copics. I then mounted it on a matte cut from the Label Stacklets 4 die set. I added bit of twine thread and a small bow and this little notecard was done! It fits perfectly in the 3×3″ envelopes from TE.

Today at Taylored Expressions we are playing a fun little game of Tic-Tac-Toe! I love challenges like this and had a BLAST putting together Carsen’s birthday card!

I started out by stamping and die cutting the Candy Monster and his had with the coordinating dies. I colored them both up with Copics and set them aside and started building the background. I die cut the Party Banner Cutting Plate out of orange and green cardstock and then sliced the green one up so I could alternate colors with the orange. I die cut two sizes of the Label Stacklets 6, on from orange and one from blue. I stamped the twirls from Borderlicious on the blue to create a little party background. The gorgeous Happy Birthday banner is die cut using the new Birthday Treat Toppers and Circle Numbers. To finish it all up I assembled the card using foam tape to separate a few of the layers and added tiny green button as accent. This went together so quickly and was VERY fun to make!

If you’d like to join us for this fun game of Tic-Tac-Toe you can get all the details on the Taylored Expressions blog about how you can WIN one of 5 gift certificates!!

That’s it for me today! I hope you’ll hop around and check out the rest of the birthday festivities at the Baker’s Dozen blogs!

Carole BurrageIt’s September Sneak Peek time at Taylored Expressions and OH MY WORD do we have a whole bunch of cute new stamps and dies to share with you in this release, not to mention a week’s worth of birthday celebrating to do as it’s Taylored Expressions FIFTH birthday this year! WOOHOO!

Next up is a fun little card I made for my nephew, Carsen. His birthday is tomorrow (we share a birthday!!) and when I saw this fun little Candy Monster stamp I KNEW I had to use it for him.

For my Tic-Tac-Toe I chose use a button, make a birthday card, do not use patterned paper (and for a bonus I used two stamp sets and 2 or more dies)
