It’s the first day of Taylored Expressions October Sneak Peeks for the October Release! We have so many fun and cool new stamps and dies for you this month!

First up is the adorable new Baby It’s Cold Outside stamp set. This is a full sized stamp set with loads of fun options. I stamped the little elf train on Choice Snow White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Prismacolors and a little bit of OMS (not a lot – the colored pencil on this applied fairly densely.) I die cut the image using the new and super adorable Shake It Up die to turn the image into a snow globe. After die cutting the image I sponged the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and used a glue pen and super fine Platinum glitter from Martha Stewart to make the snow. I used Doodlebug’s Home For the Holiday’s paper pad for the designer paper. That adorable paper bow was made using the brand new Mix and Match Bow die. To finish it off I added the Small Scalloped Border Die and a bit of white Liquid Pearls.

My second project today features two new additions to the Taylored Expressions Die family that are so so fun and a must have – Sack It To You and Sack It Penguin. Sack It To You is a wonderful die that creates a gorgeous little gift sack that can be decorated in many different ways. Sack It Penguin is a set of dies that coordinate with Sack It To You to create the adorable penguin seen above. These dies can also be used alone to create a penguin for a super cute card front or other project.

For my penguin I kept things pretty literal and quick using plain colored cardstock and a bit of coordinating ink to jazz up the penguin.

I’m envisioning making a the whole line of these to decorate our mantel for Christmas!!

That’s it for me today! Be sure to hop around and check out what the rest of the Baker’s Dozen has in store for you today!

Carole Burrage Project Supplies

Elf Train Card:
