Time for the first day of May sneak peeks for the Taylored Expressions May release. You are just going to LOVE all of the fun stamps and dies we have for you today!!

My first card uses Patriotic Prose – Brave. I LOVE these new stamps. They are so wonderfully bold and gorgeous! I inked mine with different colors of Distress Markers and then stamped it on Choice Snow White cardstock.

**Tip: If you do this I would suggest having a Mini Mister around that sprays a very fine mist to remoisten your stamp after you get done inking everything. Do this very gently and sparingly to give the ink just a little extra kick after you stamp.

For the rest of the card I used a kraft cardbase layered with navy cardstock and white cardstock embossed with Cuttlebugs Stars embossing folder. I added two small banners underneath and then layered Heart Stacklets and the new Star Stacklets with some twine to make the embellishment on the sentiment.

I decided to move away from the patriotic and create an encouragement card for my son who recently moved up in his reading class in first grade. I stamped the image on a bit of lined paper from My Mind’s Eye. I colored the banner around the word of with Copics. The stars are die cut using Star Stacklets and embossed with a new cutting plate – the Triangle Cutting Plate. I die cut the border at the bottom using the Notepaper Border. The sentiment was cut out using Banner Stacklets 3 and Tag Reinforcements.

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways!
