You’re My Cup of Tea

You're My Cup of TeaHowdy everyone! I’m sharing a card today that I made using one of the watercolors I ended up with after completing my SCS tutorial last week. (You can catch that here if you missed it.) This was a really quick card to make. 🙂 I hope you’ll head over and watch the video and maybe give Watercolor Marker painting a chance, I find it to be a really fun process with gorgeous results!

I started with Kraft cardstock and decided I didn’t want any designer paper on this one so I embossed a bit of Kraft using the Houndtooth/Damask Impression Plate from Taylored Expressions. I added a bit of dark violet cardstock to draw out the violets in the painting. I added a bit of yellow seam binding and a yellow rose to further compliment the violets. The sentiment is from the Teacup Bouquet stamp from Taylored Expressions and is die cut using one of the Designer Mini Tags.
