TE Sneak Peeks: Monogram Notecard Gift Set

Monogram Note Card Gift Set by Jen Shults

We have more Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks to share with you today! TE is introducting a new line of dies called Initially and they feature three sizes of Monogram letters perfect for creating quick and easy notecards for yourself or as a gift. I made a gift set of 5 notecards for my mom to thank her for watching my kiddos on all the no school for kids but teacher work days we had in October.

The notecards all start out with a cardstock card base in a variety of bright colors from TE’s amazing cardstock collection. Then I stamped the new Notable Blooms Background stamp on TE watercolor cardstock with Versamark and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next I used a variety of Distress Ink colors to create the watercolor background. I used the new Noteworthy Belly Band, that just happens to fit around a card AND the clear card box, to create the base for the monogram. I die cut a circle with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and Bloomin’ Stacklets 1 for a bit of layering contrast and then cut the medium sized C from Initially C for the monogram.

These were very quick to assemble with a bit of foam tape and sticky tape.

I created a set of matching envelopes by stamping the Notable Blooms Background along the top edge of the TE envelopes using their coordinating ink colors.

And to finish everything off I used my MISTI and the Sealed With Love stamp set to stamp a set of envelope seals to go with the notecards.
