Happy Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! We spent the weekend at my in laws and had a wonderful time! We had some amazing smoked ribs one of the nights from a tiny little restaurant way out in the country in Williamsburg, KS. If you ever happen to be in a position to go there – YOU SHOULD. It was AMAZING!
My first project is a card using the As You Wish Collection from Fancy Pants. This is such a fun collection and I just LOVE the gradient papers that are included in it! I paired this paper up with the From Me To You stamp set from Taylored Expressions.
Stamps: From Me To You (TE)
Paper: As You Wish 12×12 Collection Kit (Fancy Pants)
Ink: Espresso Truffle (Memento), Vintage Photo (Ranger Distress Ink)
Accessories: Friendship Blooms dies (TE), Mini Leaves dies (TE), Spellbinders Circle dies, Small Decorative Tags (Fancy Pants), corner rounder (EK Success), Janome Sew Mini, heavy duty cream thread, sponge ink applicator, twine thread, foam tape, quick dry adhesive (3M)
My second project is a set of birthday tags/cards using Be Different and two super fun Taylored Expressions stamp sets – Bugabee and Milestone Markers. I made some fairly traditional tags but instead of cutting the base out a flat sheet I folded the cardstock and overlapped the top edge of the die so the fold was not cut off so it made a tag AND a card!
While making these I mixed and matched the wonderful papers from Be Unique. I love how these just turned out to be wonderful tags that could be perfect for boys or girls!
Stamps: Bugabee, Milestone Markers (TE)
Paper: Be Different 12×12 kit, Kraft, Choice Butter Cream Cardstock (TE)
Ink: Ladybug, Nautical Blue, Cottage Ivy, Tangelo (Memento), Vintage Photo (Ranger Distress Ink)
Accessories: Tag Stacklets 2 (TE), Tag Reinforcements dies (TE), Banner Stacklets 1 (TE), Pinking Circle Stacklets (TE), Party Time dies (TE), Be Different Button Set (Fancy Pants), twine thread (TE), foam tape (TE), sponge ink applicator (Ranger), Quick Dry Adhesive (3M)
