Flutterby Birthday Wishes
Hey everyone! I hope you are having a great Wednesday! It’s Flutterby Wednesday and this week we have an open challenge, that means all you have to do is make a card that uses a butterfly, angel or fairy. Easy, huh?
For my card I used Hazel from the Bug and Roo series at By Lori Designs. I colored Hazel using Prismacolors and odorless mineral spirits. The paper I used is from K and Co’s Valentine stack… it’s surprisingly versatile. I cut Hazel out using a Nesties die and left the balloons outside the die and used a multiliner to outline the inside edge of the die. I added a blossom Nesties die behind that. Next I bunched a EK Success border (I can’t recall the name), added a bit of Twinery baker’s twine and a punched butterfly and I was done. The inside is decorated to matching using a few scraps from the front.
