For Her!
Hi all! Happy Tuesday! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions and we have a great lineup of products perfect for the flower lover in your life!
The first project I have to share with you uses a brand new layering stencil, die and Foil It that all coordinate together. These all match up so well that this card sort of made itself, lol. I started by foiling the Foil It panel with gold Deco Foil in my mini Minc. After foiling I inked the panel using the coordinating stencil. I applied Peaches & Cream and Sweet Potato using Mini Blender Brushes on the first layer, Dried Fig and Passion Fruit on the second layer, and Spearmint on the leaves. Using the same colores I die cut the Little Bits – Buds & Blossoms die and assembled the flowers. The frames are from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 3 (My FAVORITE!) and a little vellum was added to help center the sentiment and mini flowers.

My second card pairs an older product with new! I used the previously released (in a card kit but now available in the general line) Awesome Blossom Layering Stencil and matching die with the new Hold My Blooms stamp. These two are a perfect match. I used TE’s clear alignment panels to help me align the stamp on the background in my MISTI after stenciling the clouds and sky. After creating the background I stenciled the flowers – pro tip – don’t ink yellow and purple together on the same layer of the stencil. Ask me how I know. (And I should definitely KNOW BETTER!!)
To finish it all off I added a 1/8″ strip stenciled with Poppy Seed ink using the diagonal stripes stencil in the Holiday Strips – Stencil set and die cut with 1/8″ Easy Strips and a sentiment from Sentiment Staples, stamped in Versafine Clair – Nocturn and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
