Happy Halloween! TE August Sneak Peeks!!

Happy Halloween handmade card by Jen Shults, stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions

Happy Monday! It’s time for new Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks! Its August and that means it’s time to start thinking about Halloween and fall. I know it’s actually still July but Halloween sneaks up on you before you know it!

The first product I have to share with you is called On a Hinge and it’s the cutest die concept I’ve seen in a long time! It creates a swinging element to your card which you can see in the video below (please excuse my daughter sneezing in the background, lol).

I started the card by stamping, coloring and die cutting the skirt and legs. I then assembled the hinge on the back of the skirt that allows the legs to swing. Taylor has a video over on her YouTube channel demonstrating how that goes together. Next I used one of the Foil It – Basics backgrounds to create the green foil background using Lime Deco Foil and a laminating machine (I do not own a Minc).

Next I cut a background panel using Peapod cardstock and created the sentiment by stamping and embossing on vellum. To finish I assembled the card on an Oreo cardstock cardbase and I was done!

Card Supplies:

Every card needs a fun envelope to go with it and Taylored Expressions has an amazing array of stamps for envelopes and a new set is coming out this August that is perfect for Halloween.

The next product I have to share with you is an adorable new shaker set that is perfect for both Halloween and Christmas!Happy Halloween shaker card by Jen Shults, stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. Deconstructingjen.com
This shaker set was so cute that I had to use all of them! These were very easy to put together using Taylor’s Foam Adhesive Sheets to die cut that shaker element for filling and the window acetate for the clear cover. I kept the cards quick and simple by sponging on simple backgrounds and adding a few embossed lines at the bottom.
