Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween by Jen Shults

Today I have a quick clean and simple card to share with you used the Pockets and Pages 3×4 Circle Showcase die, Halloween Treat Toppers dies and Halloween Doodles from Taylored Expressions. I was inspired by this card from Caryn Davies to create the gradient background and to keep the layout clean and simple.

To create the gradient in the background I sponged Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink onto Sugar Cube cardstock. I mounted that on another piece of Sugar Cube and again on a Oreo cardbase. I cut the Circle Showcase die out of Oreo cardstock also and then used it to position my sentiment stamp from Halloween Doodles. The little pumpkin is from the Halloween Treat Toppers dies. I add a little bit of Stardust Stickles, popped things up on foam squares and that’s the end!

Absolutely love this card, Jen – everything about it! Love the candy corn gradient background – it is so clever and just plain awesome. And the glittery pumpkin is too cute!

LOVE the candy-corn coloured background to your card–very clever and seasonal! The glittery eyes are great, too.
