New Clearly Planned: School Days and After School!
Hi everyone! I’m sharing something a little bit different today! I’m playing along with the TE Clearly Planned team today using some fun new back to school Clearly Planned stamps. I use a bullet journal for most of my personal planning which is perfect for me and perfect for stamping. It’s fantastically flexible which is what I love about it most. If you aren’t familiar with bullet journaling you can read more about it here (or just do a quick Google or Instagram search because there is a TON out there). I don’t blog much about my bullet journal but I do share most of my weekly spreads on Instagram on my bullet journal account: @pen.paper.tape
I use a Leuchtturm1917 dot journal for my bullet journal and draw out a basic layout each week. From there I decide if I want to add extras for decoration or keep it simple. This week I had some extra time so I added quite a bit of extra drawing and doodling. For my individual days I stamped the day headers with Sign Me Up and Sassy Alpha using Tombow Dual Brush markers to stamp with. (Unfortunately almost all stamping ink bleeds through the pages of the journal I’m using so the Tombow markers are my stamping ink of choice.) I used School Days to add in some notes about important events this week. It just happens to be the first week of school here and it’s a BUSY one!
I used the new After School stamps to mark a couple of practices and games we have coming up this week. My daughter plays the viola so we have weekly lessons and my husband plays ice hockey so there are always weekly games to be recorded. I added a little smiley from Make a Face with a thought bubble from Chit Chat and RELAX from Fun in the Sun.
I always add a spot for general work and home note taking and I used the reminder stamp from Time Will Tell to label the boxes.
My weekly tracker is surrounded my my weekly label and weekly doodling. My bullet journal has a sunflower theme for August so each spread features a different sunflower doodle. I used Sassy Alpha to stamp the date range for the week. I hand drew the word August and drew in a weekly tracker.
That’s it for me today! Please head over to the Taylored Expressions Blog to check out all of the amazing projects being featured today!
