Share Joy Challenge 17: Love
Hi everyone! It’s Thursday so that means we have a new challenge over at Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge. For Share Joy Challenge 17 this week we have a sketch and color palette for you – as always you can use either challenge or both together.
My card for the challenge uses both the sketch and the color palette. I REALLY like this color palette so you may be seeing it again soon, lol! This card was quick and easy to put together – this one took me 30 minutes which is seriously a record for me (I’m the slowest card maker EVER).
For my card I’ve used some older TE dies that are some of my favorites! I pulled out Pockets and Pages Circle Words to be the focal point of my card and Build a Tag 3 to make the tag behind the circle. I used a brand new TE embossing folder – Flower Power to emboss the background. The little hearts that I added are from Square Block Cutting Plate. The glitter paper is from American Crafts – it’s the BEST. I was so happy to find the purple paper really closely matches Plum Punch cardstock (it doesn’t show as well in the photos but in person the glitter paper is the same tone as Purple Punch – just a tad lighter).
If you’d like to join us this week you can find all the details over at TE’s Share Joy Challenge blog. Each week we have a $15 or $20 prize and each month there is a Grand Prize Winner! We’d love to have you join us!!!
