Happy Wednesday! It’s time for Day 3 of the Sugar Pea Designs sneak peeks at the July Release and today’s stamp, Seaside Wishes, is just too adorable! I had so much fun creating my card for today. I started by stamping the image on white using Espresso Truffle (Memento) ink and coloring it with Copics. After it was colored I trimmed it out and sponged the edges with Tumbled Glass (Distress Ink). I kept the background pretty simple just stitching a little and piercing the edges (actually – my sewing machine had a miss feed so to save it I pulled the threads out and then used the machine to pierce the edges the rest of the way around). I added a few little die cuts here and there to add to the scene and paired them up with the sentiment to complete the card.
