Hi everyone! It’s day 2 of Sugar Pea Designs July Sneak Peeks! Today I’m using a STUNNING new stamp set called Twinkle, Twinkle. I had TONS of fun working with this stamp and getting it all colored up ready for a card.
This stamp reminds me so much of my daughter when she was younger that I decided to go with a color scheme that mimics her bedroom when she was little. She had light green walls and pink bedding with flowers embroidered into the coverlet and gingham pink curtains. So that’s how I colored my image. I used Copics to color the image on white cardstock from PTI. I’ll be honest, I used an insane amount of markers to color this and I did not keep track. I was pretty heavy handed with the purple shadowing to help give it a night time feel (if you look in the shadows on just about everything you can see it).
I went with a simple card design so the image stayed the primary focus and I mimicked my colors from the image.
