WooHoo!!!! It’s the start of Taylored Expressions April Release Sneak Peeks! I am so excited about this release! We have a TON of fabulous new stamps and dies to share with you. 🙂
Today I’m using Greetings for Her and Silhouette Stems 5. My first card uses the amazing Greetings for Her and Sketched Blooms, another new stamp set as well as Label Stacklets 8 – a new set of stacklets you are sure to love. To start my card I stamped the flowers in Frost White ink and embossed it with white embossing powder and colored the flowers with Copics. I used the new Label Stacklets 8 to emboss the frame. To do this I just inverted the die and used my Spellbinders Embossing Mat with this sandwich (reads bottom to top) – multipurpose platform on tab 1, cutting plate, die face down (flat side should be facing the cardstock), cardstock, embossing mat, cutting plate. Over that I layered the Band It 2 die, a twine bow and a button.
For my second project I’m using Silhouette Stems 5. I jumped on the die inlay bandwagon and die cut the flower from the white cardstock and in layed the colorful version. I accented the flower with die cuts from the In Flight Overlays dies set. The sentiment section was made using the Medium Scallop Border die, a bit of twine, Many Mini – Occasions and Mini Tags dies.
