Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks!
Hi everyone! It’s time for Taylored Expressions December sneak peeks and we have some great new products to share with you this month! First up is a new addition to bobble head stamps, You Have My Heart. I LOVE this stamp set. The images are so so cute.
I started my card with a square Toffee cardbase and then I layered with patterned paper from the new Playful Patterns – Valentine paper pack. I stamped the bear on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and colored with Copic markers. I used a mini Wobble Springs behind the head to make it bobble. Behind the bear I die cut Heart Stacklets from Watermelon cardstock and then die cut again with Pierced Heart Stacklets to great the holes around the edge. I stamped the sentiment on Oreo cardstock and heat embossed it with white. I cut the sentiment apart to fit in layers on the heart. To finish up I added a few Little Bits – Heart around the card.

My second card uses a fun new set called One in a Buzzillion. I knew I wanted to use the fun little rocket and the To the Moon and Back sentiment for a card and I as I started thinking I pulled out a couple of other TE stamp sets to go with it. I used The World Is Waiting for the Earth stamp (I trimmed off the globe extras) and Space Cadet for the moon.
To start my card I sponged Black Soot, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on watercolor cardstock and sprinkled it with water to make the night sky. I added a few stamped stars from Space Cadet that I embossed in white. Next I stamped the images on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and colored with Copic Markers. I die cut the rocket with the coordinating die and fussy cut the moon and earth with scissors. I used On the Right Track – Heart to die cut the circle track and used Pop Dots and On the Right Track -Discs to put the rocket in the track. I adhered the moon and earth with foam tape.
To finish up I stamped the sentiment on vellum, heat embossed in white and die cut with Banner Stacklets 4. I stapled this to the edge with Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I added a few Lemon Meringue Enamel Shapes for extra stars in the background. I also added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the silver parts of the rocket but it doesn’t show in the photos. 🙁
