Hello! Welcome to the first day of Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks! The Baker’s Dozen is kicking off 4 days of projects (3 days of peeks and release day). We are releasing 20 new dies, 8 stamp sets, 2 embossing folders, 1 cutting plate, new pre-printed calendars, 1 set of punchables and 4 new cardstock colors! All products will be released on Thursday, November 6, @ 7 AM PST.
First up is a fun little calendar card that I made using the new Pre-printed 3×4 Calendar. These calendars are so cute and ready for decorating to make cute little desk calendars or anything you can think of.
I decided to make my calendar into a card because I thought they would be fun to give to the new teacher in my department with a few words of encouragement on the inside at the beginning of each month. She’s been keeping the couple of other cards I gave her on her desk so these seemed like a perfect fit. 🙂
I paired the calendar up with the new Loop-de-Loo cutting plate that I embossed into Strawberry Milkshake cardstock. I then layered the calendar with Toffee cardstock and added a layered flower made from the Banner Branches and Bloom flower, one of the Friendship Blooms flowers and the smallest Patio Party Flowers.
My second project features a bunch of fun new dies. I used the new Little Bits Donut die to make my little pile of donuts. I cut them out of a variety of cardstock colors. I used the new Tin Topper die with the donuts and it gave me a really quick easy layout. I added one of the borders from the new Skinny Mini Borders (and I used the little cut out pieces to make the purple sprinkles on one of the donuts!). The sentiment is from Many Minis Occassions.
I used the Gift Card Frame die to layer the inside with a bit of paper and used a sentiment from Small Packages. I’m planning on filling this with a Duncan Donuts gift card and a couple of small candy treats!
