Taylored Expressions Septmeber Sneak Peeks: Mischief Maker Pumpkin and LB Haunted House

Hi everyone! It’s day two of a HUGE new Taylored Expressions sneak peek week to celebrate Taylored Expressions SIXTH birthday! We have LOADS going on this week to be sure to read all the way through to see what’s happening this month (and what you might win!!).

Today I have two adorable new products to showcase that are just in time for all your Halloween projects. I’m using Mischief Maker Pumpkin and Little Bits Haunted House (with a few other new Halloween goodies!)

Mischief Maker Pumpkin Halloween card, supplies from Taylored Expressions

My first card uses a load of new TE Halloween goodies!! First up is Mischief Maker Pumpkin. This little sweetie is SO adorable! (and fun to color up!) I stamped her on Sugar Cube TE cardstock and colored her with Copic Markers. I pulled up an old Deconstructed Sketch for my layout and used TE’s new Matched Hocus Pocus cardstock and paper kit. (I love these matched sets – nothing is better than having fully coordinating cardstock and patterned paper!) I used TE’s new Harlequin Embossing Folder to texture the Candy Corn cardstock. The little bit of accent on the right of the image is made with the Medium Scalloped Border die and the little pumpkin embellishment was made with Little Bits Halloween Scene and the little curly cue off the pumpkin was cut from the confetti in the Little Bits Confetti and Candle dies.

Next up is a fun scene I made using the adorable Little Bits Haunted House dies.

Little Bits Haunted House, all supplies from Taylored Expressions

To make this card I started off by building the scene for the Little Bits Haunted House. I first die cut a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with Label Stacklets 6 and then sponged it with Faded Jeans and Dusty Concorde Distress Ink using the Cloud Border Die as a mask as I sponged the ink. Next I die cut the hill using the Build a Scene Mountain Tops dies out of Granny Smith cardstock and sponged it with Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I die cut the hill a second time out of gray cardstock and drew in the road and cut it out. The tombstones are from the super adorable Little Bits Halloween Scene dies as is the little bat. the moon is die cut from the Little Bits Sun and Cloud dies and the fence is from Spooky Fence die. In the background I embossed a piece of vellum with the Tangled Webs Embossing Folder. The green cardstock is embossed with the Zig Zag Embossing Folder. To finish off I added a small strip of paper from the Hocus Pocus Paper Pack and a bit of ribbon from my ribbon stash and a little button.
