Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 2
Hi everyone! It’s day 2 of Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks and today I have two projects to share with you! My projects coordinate with each other which I LOVE, I think I might make a couple more and put together a card pack for someone yet to be determined. 🙂
My first card features the Southwest Cutting Plate die, Free Spirit stamp set and Fine Feathers dies. Instead of cutting the cutting plate out of paper I cut it out of a clear plastic sheet and used it as a stencil. It worked AMAZING. I sponged on a bit of Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo onto Sugar Cube cardstock and I LOVE how it turned out.

My second card for today follows the same color palette I used on the card above and features a few of the same dies as well along with a couple of others. We have two new embossing folders this month and the one I used on this card is called Ikat. I really like how it looks! I used the Free Spirit stamp set again, this set features some great card messages. The feathers are from Fine Feathers. The fun little arrow on the card is from a cute new die set called Follow Your Arrow that features a BUNCH of cute little directional arrows. I die cut the sentiment with Label Stacklets 8 and added a twine bow.
