TE Blender Brushes!

You may have been seeing these amazing little brushes on Instagram the last day or two and the wait is already over. Taylored Expressions is launching a new product – Blender Brushes and brush Storage CaddyRIGHT NOW!!

These brushes are AMAZING. I was honestly hesitant to jump on the blender brush train. I had a whole bunch of the sponge blenders. Then I got two packs of the Clarity Stencil Brushes. To be truthful I was set and I didn’t think I needed the toothbrush blender brushes. I WAS SO WRONG. I am also so glad I waited. These brushes from TE are all a consistent size – no packs with giant brushes and small brushes you can’t really use. They come with colored handles so you can easily tell which brush is for which color. They have a storage caddy that is PERFECT! If you’ve been following me long you know it’s not often that I rave about products. This one though – it’s a game changer! (And it’s pretty too!!)

So not to show off how they work. Over the next few days I’m going to be sharing projects made using these new brushes. And I’ll be honest here, I’ve been using them daily. They are a new staple for me.

My first project is a clean and simple pick me up card using One in a Buzzillion. I started my card by stamping the elephant on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and coloring with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and set it aside to build the rest of the card.

For the cloud background strip I used the Set the Scene Clouds Stencils with Salt Water Taffy, Confetti Cake and Cookie Monster ink and the new Blender Brushes. You can see how perfectly smooth and soft the brushes work even with the lightest touch.

To finish the card I trimmed the stenciled panel to fit behind the elephant. I stamped the sentiment on Oreo cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut a Sugar Cube panel with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets to mat the cardbase and then assembled with foam tape. To finish up I added a few Snow Flurries sequins.
