TE-CardMaker SOTM Hop!

Taylored Expressions is teaming up with CardMaker Magazine for a super fun blog hop today! If you just arrived from Alice Golden’s blog you are in the right place!

TEcardmakerbadgeFor my card I used the September 2013 Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month – Sending Smiles. I stamped the flower cluster from this set on Choice Snow White cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. The patterned paper I used is from Fancy Pants Happy Go Lucky 6×6 paper pad. My card base is made from Choice Kraft Cardstock that I stamped with the dot pattern from Sending Smiles. I stamped the dots in Versamark and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  The rectangle in my card is cut from Label Stacklets 6, over that is a die cut from Label Stacklets 7. I used Banner Stacklets 1 for the banner elements. The flowers are handcut with scissors. To finish the elements were sponged with Ranger’s Vintage Photo Distress Ink and distressed lightly. I added a bit of ribbon and a twine bow and button.

About the Stamp of the Month:

Taylored Expressions offers three subscription kits to help take the guesswork out of crafting. Each of our Stamp of the Month sets has been designed to pair perfectly with our monthly Key Ingredients kits, which include coordinating cardstock, patterned paper, and ribbon. Matching dies are also available for each of our Stamp of the Month stamp sets. Subscribers have the option of receiving just our Stamp of the Month or Key Ingredients Kit each month, or become a Deluxe Key Ingredients subscriber, which includes both, along with exclusive subscriber benefits. Plus, SOTM and Deluxe subscribers have the option to purchase previously released Stamp of the Month sets from our SOTM Archives, while supplies last!

Time for a Giveaway!

Taylored Expressions is giving away one stamp set from the Stamp of the Month Archives (plus its coordinating die) to one lucky winner! To enter, leave a comment on each participating designer’s blog. Winner will be chosen at random from all comments. Comments close midnight PST on Friday, November 22, 2013.
