TE June Sneak Peeks: Summer Grumplings
Hi! It’s day two of Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peeks! Today I’m using a brand new Grumplings set that is adorable! All of the products we are sneak peeking this week will be available Thursday June 9, 2016 at 9 am CST. 🙂
To start my card I stamped the little dog Grumpling on Sugar Cube cardstock and colored him with Copics then die cut him with the coordinating die. I cut a cardbase out of Sugar Cube and used Stitched Rectangle Stacklets to cut the background layer of Sugar Cube with a thin strip of yellow dot paper at the bottom. Next I cut a Sugar Cube circle with Stitched Circle Stacklets and sponged it with Cookie Monster ink letting it fade out at the top. I die cut a banner using Banner Stacklets 4 and embossed it with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. The sun was cut using Build a Scene Sunshine and cut from Potato Chip, Lemon Meringue and Candy Corn cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on Oreo cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I assembled it all with foam tape and liquid adhesive.
