TE October: Joyous Holiday

Hi everyone! I’m back with more Taylored Expressions goodies to share with you! Today I have two projects to share and LOADS of new products to talk about. My first project uses more new layering borders: A Savior is Born and Follow the Star. I cut the A Savior is Born borders out of Oreo and Earl Grey cardstock then set them aside and ink blended Blue Corn, Blueberry and Gumball ink on Sprinkles cardstock. To create the stars in the night sky I splattered a little watered down white acrylic paint. The frame was die cut from Poppy Seed cardstock using Stitched Frame Stacklets 1. To attached the borders I adhered them to the frame first with liquid adhesive then cut foam tape to line the frame and back of the borders to pop it up on the background. The sentiment was stamped on Blue Corn cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The star from Follow the Star was cut from Pineapple cardstock and centered in the sky.

My second card features a new clear stamp set called The Very Best Gift. This clear stamp set has a coordinating die for the present and lots of options for how to stamp and fill the text. The background was stamped with the Twiggy Background stamp using Toffee ink on Toffee cardstock. I added NUVO Crystal Drops in White around the background and a twine bow to finish it off.
