Good morning! I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. It’s been a busy week here in KC. We moved our daughter back down to Arkansas and did a massive clean out of the house (which feels really good) so we are ready for a fresh start to the school year.
Today is the Second Chance sale at Taylored Expressions and to say that we have a LOT of new goodies to coordinate with them is an understatement. There are SO MANY amazing products to check out!
The first card I have to share with you features the Fruit Cocktail Die Set ($100 gift with purchase from May 2026) which is so adorable! With this is used All Planned Out 6 and the very punny Fruity Fun stamp set and coordinating dies. I started this card by cutting out all of the fruit from Fruit Cocktail and ink blending the edges. Next I cut out All Planned Out 6 from Toffee and Salt Water Taffy (stamped with Polka Chic for a little texture). I arranged all of the fruits around the card, added little gel pen accents and finished up with two of the sentiments from Fruity Fun.
My second project features the Geo Blooms Embossing Folder (free gift with $100 purchase from February 2026) and the new coordinating products: Polka Dot Cutting Plate and Geo Blooms Stencil. I started my card with a Dried Fig cardbase. From there I die cut the Polka Dot cutting plate from Macaron cardstock then stenciled it with the Geo Blooms stencil with coordinating ink. After that I embossed with the Geo Blooms embossing folder for texture. I layered this on a piece of Potato Chip cardstock so the yellow peeks through the polka dots. I added a Sugar Cube frame from A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate. To finish I die cut HELLO from Sugar Cube and Dried Fig cardstock using the Tall Tales Alpha Dies Set. I carefully layered the letters and adhered them to the top of the card. Next I added a few flowers from Garden Variety 2 Die Set in Potato Chip, Lime Zest and Honey.
My third project features the Silly Goose Stamp Set (free with $100 purchase April 2026) along with the new coordinating dies and Silly Goose Coloring Stencil. I started by stamping the Sketchy Stripes background stamp on Blu Cheese cardstock with Blu Cheese ink. Next I die cut the Mini Slim Frame in Frame Cutting Plate dies from Toffee, Pineapple and Cherry Pop. I layered the largest frame over the background. Next I stamped two of the geese from Silly Goose Stamp Set on Sugar Cube with black ink and used the coordinating stencil to color everything in. I did add a bit of grey accent with OLO markers on the body of each goose. After die cutting the geese I adhered them to the small frames from the Mini Slim Frame in Frame Cutting Plate. I wrapped a little twine around the cardbase, added the geese with foam tape and a sentiment.
My last card uses Springtime Sprinkles Background Stamp – March 2026 $100 GWP. I created this card by blending Dried Fig, Cotton Candy, Mint Julep, Mango, Candy Corn and Fruit Punch on a piece of Sugar Cube (this might be my new favorite TE rainbow!!). After heat setting I stamped the background with Springtime Sprinkles and Versamark then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut this with the A2 Layer Stacklets. Next I die cut a piece of Sugar Cube with one of the A2 Large Scallop Dies and wrapped it with twine. I added To My Favorite Chick from the Hello Spring stamp set and added a flower from Another Year In Bloom (which is retired but could be substituted for any of the other Year in Bloom flowers).
Tell me what you think. I'd love to hear from you!!!
