Hi all! I have a quick birthday card to share with you today! You might have noticed that this week seems to be all about the birthdays. 🙂 It’s TE’s 10th Birthday this month and we have LOTS of fun to share with you. All of the products used are available now! You can check them out here.
To make this card I started by ink blending the rainbow on Sugar Cube cardstock using Guava, Candy Corn, Lemon Meringue, Lime Zest, Cookie Monster and Plum Punch Ink. I love the way these colors blend together to make the perfect bright rainbow. I thoroughly heat set the ink after blending then used my Misti to stamp the Sweet Sprinkles Background over the top using Versamark and then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Be sure to use an embossing buddy or powder tool before stamping with Versamark to keep them powder from sticking to any possible wet ink areas from blending.
I used Caps Lock – Happy and Caps Lock Companion – Occasions for the sentiment. I stamped birthday on Oreo cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut happy three times from Sugar Cube and glued the layers together for depth. I popped birthday up on foam tape and was done!
I’m definitely going to be reusing this design with different colors for my birthday card stash. 🙂
That’s it for me today! I hope you’ll head over to Taylor’s Blog to see what everyone else has to share with you today!

As part of their 10th birthday TE is continuing that mission with the launch of a special Share Joy campaign focused on providing birthday cards to those in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities across the U.S. To make as deep an impact as possible TE is inviting card makers everywhere to join the campaign.
