TE September Sneak Peeks Day 2: Fall Florals
Hi crafty friends! Today is day 2 of Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peeks and today we have new fall themed goodies to share with you! I wish there were more hours in a day – I want to use them all!
Both of my projects today use Fall Florals. I LOVE this stamp set. It’s so fun and coordinates perfectly with Fresh Florals! I also used the new Playful Patterns Harvest 6×6 Paper Pack (LOVE these paper packs).
To start my card I cut a piece of Playful Patterns paper and die cut a circle out of the middle using Stitched Circle Stacklets. I cut a piece of Sugar Cube to fit behind the circle and stamped the sentiment in the new (and gorgeous) Mulled Wine ink. The flowers around the circle are stamped using Mulled Wine, Pumpkin, Dijon, Sweet Basil and Chocolate Truffle ink. I used a few of the new Matched Harvest Sequins to add a little sparkle.

My next card also uses Fall Florals with the same color palette but with a different layout. I just love this rich fall color scheme!
For this card I made the focal point of the card a spray of flowers from Fall Florals with the sunflower as the center. I added a circle of gingham green and Mulled Wine behind it for a bit of contrast. I mounted this on Dijon cardstock with the sentiment stamped at the bottom. I have plans to make a set of these for my mom! 🙂
