TE Sneak Peeks Day 2: Just My Type

Hi everyone! It’s day 2 of Taylored Expressions December Sneak Peeks and today I have two fun cards to share with you. All of the new products being shared this week will be available on Thursday, December 6 at 9 am CST.

My first card uses a fun new snarky stamp set called Shenanigans. I paired this us with the Shatters stencil and of course some TE inks. I used Fruit Punch, Lemon Meringue and Cookie Monster to sponge the rainbow over the stencil using Clarity Stencil brushes. The inks mixed beautifully to create the secondary colors.

For the sentiment I stamped on Oreo using Versamark ink and embossed with TE Detail White embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with Stitched Oval Stacklets and popped it up on foam tape.

My second card uses a new stamp set called Just My Type which features a large typewriter stamp with matching sentiments and dies. The dies allow the paper to move within the typewriter revealing the sentiment.

I used the new Subway Tiles stencil to create the background by sponging Mushroom ink on Mushroom cardstock then distressing the edges with scissors. I then added a bit of TE Detail Embossing Powder in Gold and Silver mixed together to the edges. The embossing powder stuck to areas of the stenciled paper that were still slightly wet with ink.

I stamped the typewriter in Versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. It embossed perfectly!
