TE Sneak Peeks Day 3: Llove You Llots

Hi everyone! It’s day 2 of Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks for January! We have been sharing Sneaks all week and the new products will be available for purchase Thursday, January 12 at 7 am PDT.

My first card today features a super cute new stamps set called Llama Love Stamp & Die Combo. This adorable little llama comes with different facial expressions and a few coordinating sentiments. I started my card by stamping the llama on Sugar Cube cardstock and coloring him with Copic Markers. I then die cut him with the coordinating die. Next I cut a Toffee card base and cut a strip of Sugar Cube cardstock and used a Clarity Stencil Brush to apply a soft layer of Peapod and Sprinkles ink to create the sky and ground. I die cut the Stitched Cloud Duo dies from Sugar Cube for clouds in the sky. For the sentiment I stamped the Llove you LLots sentiment on Oreo cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. To finish I added a bit of twine around the banner and a twine bow.

To start my card I stamped the tread mill Grumpling on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and colored him with Prismacolors. After I was done I die cut him with the coordinating Exercise Grumplings Die. To build the background I cut two nested rectangles using Stitched Rectangle Stacklets from Sugar Cube cardstock. I sponged the center of the smaller one with Sprinkles ink for a little background. I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto Peapod cardstock and die cut it with Banner Stacklets 4. For the cardbase I cut a piece of Toffee cardstock and added a thin strip of gold chevron paper from 6×6 Paper Pack – Build a Scene. The very last thing added was a few hand doodled sweat droplets above the Grumpling for a little extra grumpiness. 🙂
