TE Sneak Peeks – You Bring Color To My Life
Hi everyone! Today is day one of Taylored Expressions June 2019 Sneak Peeks. Today I have to cards to share with you and both feature products that are so much fun!
My first card uses a new background stamp that I dearly love – Create in Color Background. Who can resist a giant stamp of blank pencils ready for color or black and white or both and don’t get me started on the rainbow choices! I kept my card fairly simple – coloring the pencils with Copics and fussy cutting around them to layer them on a blended background using Sprinkles ink. I then stamped the sentiment at the bottom and added a bit of twine and a few clear NUVO drops. I had so much fun coloring this up – it’s so relaxing to sit and color a good rainbow!

My second card is a fun interactive card using TE’s new Gatefold Reveal die set. This makes for a super fun and EASY interactive card. I started the outside of the card by sponging Pineapple, Blue Raspberry and Eggplant ink through the Double Diamond Stencil on a sheet of Sugar Cube. I created a gatefold card base out of Sugar Cube and trimmed the stencil panel to fit on the front.
Next I stamped the Hey Craft Friend sentiment on Blue Raspberry cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed in white. I added twine and a little Pineapple heart. I adhered this to one half of the card front and added a little tiny half baby glue dot to the other side to keep it closed.
On the inside I used the same color palette to create the reveal window – SUPER simple with the dies. And this sentiment is so me it’s not even funny!!!
