TE Sneak Peeks:

Hello by Jen Shults, handmade card using stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions

Hi everyone! It’s day three of Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks and today I have two projects to share with you! The first project I have uses the new Floral Frame Cutting Plate with previously released Bloomers flowers and a sentiment from Floral Frenzy.

Everything shared this week will be available for purchase from Taylored Expressions on Thursday February 8!

I started by cutting the Floral Frame Cutting Plate from Toffee and Sugar Cube Cardstock. I sponged the center cut out from the Sugar Cube cut with Salt Water Taffy Ink. I adhered the Toffee die cut to a Toffee cardbase. I stamped the sentiment from Floral Frenzy on the Sugar Cube piece using Oreo ink and offset it to the right to make room for the flower cluster. I adhere that to the center of the frame. Next I die cut Bloomers 3, Bloomers 5, Bloomers 6 from Candy Corn, Lollipop and Lemon Meringue cardstock. I added accents to the flowers with Copic Markers. I die cut Bloomers Greenery from Granny Smith and added Copic accents to these as well. I adhered these to the frame adding foam tape under the middle flower for dimension.

My second card uses a previously released stamp set – Big Bloom Hydrangea that now has a matching die! Actually ALL of the Big Blooms stamps have matching dies now!!

My card started with stamping the hydrangea on Sugar Cube with Oreo in and coloring with Copics. I stamped the leaves twice each and the big flower once. I kept the rest of the card simple  – I mounted the flower on an Earl Grey base that I added stitching to with a white gel pen. I die cut the sentiment three times and adhered them together for dimension. I matted the whole thing in white and attached to an Earl Grey cardbase.
