Thinking of You

Thinking of You handmade card by Jen Shults, ink blending, taylored expressions

Hi everyone. I have a quick card to share today using some of my favorite Taylored Expressions products. I always gravitate straight toward these when I need a fast birthday, get well or thinking of you card.

I started this card by sponging some Cookie Monster and Key Lime ink on Sugar Cube cardstock starting in the lower right corner and fading out about halfway up the card. I then mixed a little Mermaid Lagoon and Lucky Clover Distress Ink with water to splatter in the background. I die cut my all time favorite TE die – the Leafy Branch Die from Peapod cardstock and layered it with Bloomers 2 and Mini Bloomers flowers cut from Potato Chip. The flower centers are from Mini Bloomers 2 and cut from Candy Corn. I stamped the sentiment from Friendly Phrases (a NEW favorite – I LOVE this set) on Oreo cardstock and embossed in white. I die cut the sentiment with Banner Stacklets 4 and trimmed a little off the edge to shorten the banner and tied with twine on the end. After assembly I added a little white dots with a gel pen to the center of the flowers. Done!
