Welcome to Verve’s March Diva Inspirations Hop. It’s the 5th of the month and that means it’s hopping time! This month we’ve got a fabulous challenge that’s sure to put a string in your step! So in addition to a comment prize hidden along the hop, you can play along with the challenge and link up your creation for a chance to win another prize!
Our March challenge is Spring Has Sprung:
It’s time to ditch the winter blues! Create a card that sings Spring using inspirational quotes, pretty colors and florals or themes that celebrate new life. Whether you draw inspiration from the graphic or blaze your own trail, just show us what spring means to you!
For my project I used the inspiration photo above for a starting point for my color palette and I just had to use one of the gorgeous butterflies from Blue Skies. The paper pad I used is a couple of years old from MME’s Lost and Found Market Street. It was a perfect match for the inspiration photo! I used Beautiful Plain Jane for my main panel and stamped it in Toffee Crunch from Memento to match the kraft paper accents throughout the card. To finish off I added a twine bow and flower to the tag and a few stick on pearls here and there.

Oh your card is gorgeous. I love the way you “edge” your layers here. These papers are so soft and pretty and I love the sparkle on the butterfly. Of course that scattered pearls are a favourite with me;)
