It’s Wild Flower Wednesday time again! We are up to challenge 12! When did that happen. This week I’m giving you a little sneak peak at a new image that will be available May 5th from the Wild Flower Patch. I’m so excited about these new images! I’ve been drawing all sorts of new things and I just love the way they are tuning out. This digi doesn’t have a name yet but I’m sure most of you that have been around here for a while can guess who I based her on. 😀
I used Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch challenge #71 to get started though I screwed up a little bit and trimmed the image down more than I had originally intended too.
To get started I colored her with Copics and had a bit of fun doodling on her folder with a white gel pen. 😀 I picked up this fun Doodlebug Designs designer paper and then used pink and orange cardstock to echo the pink and orange from her clothing. I colored the pink flowers with Copics (they were originally white) and added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the edges.
Here are a couple of close up images of the flowers and the coloring.
If you’d like to participate with us at Wild Flower Wednesday all you need to do is create a project using Pink and Orange (Wild Flower Patch digi’s aren’t required but we do love when you can use them!) and leave a direct link in InLinkz over on the Wild Flower Patch blog. One randomly selected weekly winner will recieve 3 Wild Flower Patch digis of their choice!
